Platinum

Platinum is a chemical element; it has symbol Pt and atomic number 78. It is a dense, malleable, ductile, highly unreactive, precious, silverish-white transition metal. Its name originates from Spanish platina, a diminutive of plata "little silver".It is one of the rarer elements in Earth's crust, with an average abundance of approximately 5 μg/kg. Platinum is used in catalytic converters, laboratory equipment, electrical contacts and electrodes, platinum resistance thermometers, dentistry equipment, and jewelry.

3. Quality Standards

1. Platinum Ingots: The platinum ingots must comply with the IC-Pt99.95 specifications as stated in the GB/T37653-2019 standard, with a platinum content of no less than 99.95%. The grade is IC-Pt99.95. Alternatively, the platinum ingots must be standard physical products produced by suppliers recognized by the London Platinum and Palladium Market (LPPM), the Tokyo Commodity Exchange, the New York Mercantile Exchange, or other suppliers deemed qualified by our company.

2. Appearance Quality: The platinum ingots must be rectangular in shape, with a flat and clean surface. The edges and corners should be intact, without burrs or sharp edges. The ingots must be free from cavities, layers, cracks, and inclusions. The surface of the platinum ingots must be engraved with a clear brand mark and product number.

3. Quality Certificate: A manufacturer's quality assurance certificate must be provided for each batch of products.

4. Inspection Requirement: Each batch of products must pass remelting inspection by Unilink before it can be involved in purchase and sale transactions.
